Going back home

Since the 3-hour van-ride to the resort was nerve-racking enough, we took a small airplane back to Puerto Plata. Here we are, about ready to take off.
A few of these aerial shots turned out pretty good, so I thought I'd share them with you.
Now, I THINK this is the resort we stayed at in the middle of this cove. At least, I'm pretty sure anyway. Everything seemed to fit.
On the way, here is a look at a city that we passed over. This one was one of the better shots I think.
Even though this one isn't very good, it give you a good idea of what the countryside looks like There are a lot of small hills scattered everywhere.
Now, this turned out almost perfectly. I got a near-perfect picture of the Puerto Plata International Airport. This is our last stop before heading home to Canada.
Down on the ground, here is our pilot, Stever, and his 1976 Cessna Skyhawk. Thanks for the lift!
This isn't the aircraft that we're about to go on, but it made a pretty nice picture.
...and this is the one that will take us home, a SkyService A320 airbus. I'm sure not looking forward to getting inside that plane to go home to ice and snow. It made me shiver just thinking about it.
