Standing at the doorway to the living room, here's the couch. A nice, big, soft, cozy sectional. Who would ever guess that I have cut one half right down the middle and reassembled it? Small doorway. |
And looking over to the right a bit, there's the guinea pig in his aquarium, the weird artsy chair, and oh yes, the lava lamp. Don't you just want to go "bloop bloop" when it bubbles up and down? |
A quick shot of the bedroom. I took this one cause I'm so proud of what a nice job I did making the headboard and shelves. Doesn't it look professional? |
Considering that this camera is a slow serial-based data transfer, here's a look at the USB compact-flash card drive that I bought to make things faster. Works great! |
My Handspring Visor Deluxe handheld computer. I've used Sony, Palm, and now Handspring. Handspring has been the best. Oh, and no matter what kind of handheld I have, it's always for sale. |
Back when CD-recording was new, I bought this HP6020ep external parallel port writer. It's CD-R only (not CD-RW) and only 1x or 2x writing. Also always for sale, and very handy even though it's old. |
And what techie-geek's collection would be complete without the simply amazing Commodore 64? If you're a techie and you never had one of these, or at least used one, well, then don't even talk to me. |
Those of us lucky few that migrated from tape to disk would have purchased this absolutely screaming fast (*ahem) 300-baud Commodore 1541 disk drive. Ohhhhh the blazing speed! |
And finally, here's my current collection of paperweights. Ok ok, those are really 5.25" floppy disk drives from old PCs. They have their uses. Doorstop, wheel chock, table-leveller, plumb bob...etc. |
